As a child I (Esme, Circa 21's owner) remeber by grandma introducing me to "Figgy Hobbin"  a collection of children's poems by Cornish poet Charles Causley. It features a wide range of characters and themes, from the humorous demand for a sweet and savory "Figgie Hobbin" plum pudding by the "King of Cornwall."
