A high quality giclee print of an original painting by Penzance artist, Chris Thompson.
Newlyn Pier, part of the hardworking harbour, with it's welcoming lighthouse is just part of a beautiful and hardworking fishing port. A place where the children can catch their first Pollack or dangle for crabs. If those stones could speak!
A3 (297mmx420mm) print (available unframed)
Chris studied in the 1960s at Kingston School of Art and the Royal College of Art. Since retiring in 2010 as a TV and Film Production Designer (and helped design the Emperor Dalek, no less!) he paints full time.
His original paintings are acrylic on canvas inspired by Cornish landscapes and the special Cornish light, synonymous with this part of the world.
