A tiny cove hidden at high tide on the edge of the popular Polzeath beach, Cowrie Bay is locally-famed as a perfect spot for hunting tiny treasures in the form of the cowrie shell. Though hard to find, these shells are rich in cultural history and, once cast, make a beautiful addition to any jewellery collection.
