Made from:Naturally dyed coloured leather journal with recycled unbleached cotton paper pages made from left over rags from the massive garment industry in India.
 
The expertly handmade, eco-friendly and Fair Trade leather journal is the perfect way to note down all of your thoughts. Stylish and unique it also makes a difference to the communities who make them, the cotton is made by a charity that promotes women's development in rural areas of Rajasthan, India.
 
Our beautiful Fair Trade mini leather notebooks are covetable items and make for a great ideas book, inspiration book or simple notebook. The pages have been expertly hand-stitched and the leather covers age really well so they are happy to take a few knocks! Each mini notebook is handmade and contains 30 pages of unlined khadda paper. Khadda paper is made from recycled cotton, is acid-free and is a beautiful paper to write or draw on. However, we don't recommend using a fountain pen with this type of handmade paper. Available in Plain or Embossed leather (subject to availability)
 
All of our leather notebooks are handmade by a small family business in Rajasthan, India. They have been expertly crafted using a mixture of contemporary and traditional methods and the pages have been bound by hand so they are strong and perfect for travelling. The leather used is a by-product of the meat industry in India and is tanned using only natural dyes.
 
Each small and medium journal contains approx 125 pages of unlined khadda paper; khadda is recycled cotton that has been left over from the massive garment industry in India.Due to the rustic nature of these handmade leather journals, each one is unique and comes with its own blend of natural leather creases, blemishes and patterns that blend into the overall tone of the journal over time.
