Montol is a festival in Penzance, which takes place on the winter solstice. It celebrates the Cornish midwinter traditions and the Old Christmas. People come and dance, chase the winter darkness, and celebrate the return of light. There's singing, a fire lit procession and guise dancing - think masked dancers and mischievous behaviour!
