Sarah used water based acrylic paints in light pink, dusky pink and light green were used to paint all the woodwork of the washstand. These colours were chosen as they match the colours in the ceramic tiles perfectly. A water based metallic gold paint was used to add decorative lines and scrolls on the woodwork. The inside of the drawer has been painted and the base lined with fabric. The tiles and marble top were then scrubbed and cleaned. Any woodworm has been correctly treated to halt it in its tracks.
