Jago Silver has been illustrating children’s books since graduating from Falmouth in 2003 He works from his home in North Cornwall with his lovely family.
He's produced illustrations for over 60 children’s books and a few magazines, as well as a TV show or two, some logos and album covers.
Most of his children’s book work has been for publishers in the US as his agent (Ronnie Herman) is based in New York. He's probably best known for his work with New York Times Bestselling author Sally Lloyd-Jones. Thier books have now sold more than 6 million copies and won a tidy stack of awards.
 
Jago says, "I work almost entirely digitally, using a couple of Macs and an iPad in a secret blend of the finest textures, papers and digital paints. 
I enjoy working on children's books and am drawn to stories with a hint of eccentricity.”
